Since the start of 2021 it has become the norm for interpreters and translators to have to wait in excess of two months for payment, causing stress for them and frustration for Deaf claimants, who are having to take the time to chase up payments only to be told that they need to fill out and resubmit the paperwork. NUBSLI has written to Justin Tomlinson, Minister for Disabled People, Health and Work.
